Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) Admission in India

Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) is a well-known undergraduate medical course under the traditional systems of medicine. Unani medicine is based on the principles of natural healing and focuses on maintaining the balance of bodily humors to promote health and prevent diseases.

Eligibility Criteria To Study BUMS In India 2026–2027

• The candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English from a recognized board.

• Candidates must have qualified NEET UG, which is mandatory for BUMS admission in India.

• Nationality: Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals, OCIs, PIOs, and NRIs are eligible as per government guidelines.

• The candidate must be at least 17 years old as of 31st December of the admission year.

• Minimum aggregate marks in PCB subjects:

  • General category: 50%

  • OBC/SC/ST: 40%

  • PWD: 45%
