Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) Admission in India

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is one of the most popular undergraduate courses in the field of traditional medicine after MBBS alternatives. Ayurveda is a holistic medical system that originated in India more than 3,000 years ago and focuses on natural healing, prevention, and overall well-being.

BAMS is an undergraduate program with a total duration of 5.5 years, which includes 4.5 years of academic study and 1 year of compulsory rotating internship. The course combines the principles of Ayurveda with modern medical sciences such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, and diagnostics.

The BAMS curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical clinical training.
